One-time code
9 random digits live for 10 minutes (or 5, or 15) and burn after the first attempt — they can't be guessed or reused.
Desk Pick opens another computer's screen in a window: mouse, keyboard and pasting text work as if you were sitting there. Connecting takes a one-time code and the owner's permission.
Free · Windows 10 and 11 · macOS coming soon
The same app on both computers. No addresses, ports or network settings.
One installer, no administrator rights needed.
The person who needs help clicks “Give access” and reads out 9 digits. The code works for 10 minutes and only once.
The helper enters the code, and the first computer asks for permission. Nothing is shared until someone clicks “Allow”.
Screen, mouse, keyboard and pasting text — just like sitting side by side. Access can be closed at any moment.
Simple for the person asking for help, handy for the one helping.

Mouse moves, clicks, wheel, drag and drop, and the keyboard. Or switch on view-only.
Ctrl+V pastes text from your clipboard on the remote computer — no need to dictate passwords or addresses.
Picture and input go straight between the two computers, with no server of ours in the middle, and are always encrypted (DTLS/SRTP).
Sharp text, balanced or smooth — and the video bitrate adapts to the network on its own.
Signing in is optional. The account is the same as in VPN Pick — by email or with Google.
Desk Pick gives access to a computer, so its owner controls every connection.
Each connection has to be allowed by hand. No answer within a minute means no.
Whatever happens — allowed, declined or expired — the invitation is deleted.
Video and input are always encrypted: it's a mandatory part of WebRTC.
Disconnect the guest with one button, or switch off control to leave them view-only.
Never give your code to strangers: whoever connects sees your screen.
Yes. Desk Pick is free, and an account is optional.
No. The computers find each other on their own. If both networks are very strict (some mobile and corporate ones), a direct connection isn't possible — the app will tell you so.
Not yet: Windows protects the sign-in screen, the lock screen and UAC prompts separately. Programs run as administrator can't be controlled either.
The installer isn't signed with a paid certificate yet. Click “More info” → “Run anyway”. You can verify the file by its SHA-256 on the download page.
The macOS version is in the works and will appear on the download page. You'll be able to connect between Windows and Mac both ways.
